...with these guys, it's definitely a sickness. It's a good sickness though and one that you don't want a cure for.
The crew at Ego Tripp wheeled us up here at MoonShine Steel for our MetricTV bike, RATIKUL, with a super special, great looking design incorporating our desire to continue the "moonshine" theme throughout the bike. RATIKUL also has the distinct honor of wearing Ego Tripp's very first custom 23" front wheel and you gotta check out that 20" tall monster rear wheel specially made for the new AVON Venom 280 and MoonShine Steel's very own friction-drive application....one purr-fect example of my idea that "REAL CUSTOM BIKES DON'T COME WITH INSTRUCTIONS"
Each of the 4 spokes within the wheel design is actually a "crescent moon" arc with a raised centerline and they matched the brake rotors to the design as well. MOONSHINE ... The term "moonshine" actually orginated in Europe...not here in Kentucky where the best of the best "stumphole" has been brewed. The term was used in England as far back as the 1700's. The word referred to "occupational pursuits which required night work...or work by the light of the moon."
BOOTLEGGING ... however, did begin here in America and the way I hear it goes is something like this...

It was a picture perfect day in Kentucky & the Big South Fork NRRA region as young and old gathered from far and near to our annual county-wide October festival, McCREARYFEST.
What started as a cool, overcast Saturday quickly gave way to brilliant blue skies and warmer temps as if the sun itself seemingly cleared the way for the American tradition of a parade down Main Street U.S.A.
