Bright blue Kentucky skies and about 100 registered participants arrived in "old town" Whitley City where local officials taped off the downtown area of Main Street for the first gathering of the "cruise-in" season of 2006.

The bright lights of Las Vegas are in the rear view mirror now and it was all a fantastic experience for us at MoonShine Steel. The great staff at the Hooters Casino and Hotel are to be commended for the accomodations, service and outstanding hospitality. Thanks again, HOOTERS ! It was a great unveiling for the Metric Revolution team and you all made it safe and secure not to mention comfortable for us all.
THE FREMONT STREET EXPERIENCE JUDGING
VIVAVISION-The World's Largest TV Overhead
The Fremont Street Experience...wow...what an experience! I've been to Vegas many times over the years but this was my first time to Fremont Street. I had no idea what I was missing! There was this unique atmosphere under the VivaVision canopy...very laid back and every single person I encountered was genuinely cordial and friendly. Not at all what I expected. I answered so many questions and spoke to so many people at the ropes around our bike display that my voice was stressed and my jaws ached. Not complaining at all...it was a new and unique experience for me being the old "rookie" up & down Fremont Street. If you are one of those great people I met during the recent Fremont Street unveiling, please take the time to e-mail and say Hello. From England to Australia and all across the U.S., the people I visited with there on Fremont Street in Vegas were some of the most fun people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.
Of course, I'm anxious to display my hard work over the past 180 days and will get to that shortly. Images of my Metric Revolution/Triumph build bike, RATIKUL, are being readied and will be posted soon so please check back and see what we've been up to. But for now...we're off to the HotBike/RC Components SuperShow held by Horsepower Promotions in downtown Louisville, Kentucky this weekend to check out some more fantastic creations.
